EyeMed / Aetna

Heights Vision is a Premier Edge Partner with VSP Insurance. Although we do accept EyeMed / Aetna vision insurance, it's best for EyeMed / Aetna patients to seek vision care at LensCrafters and Pearle Vision to maximize their benefits as EyeMed, LensCrafters and Pearle Vision are all owned by their parent company Luxottica.

If your Routine Eye Exam reveals a medical condition or eye disease that requires follow-up care, referral to a specialist, or related to a medical condition such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, dry eyes, etc. then your visit is NOT COVERED by Vision Insurance. Unfortunately, the doctor cannot tell if medical eye conditions exist before you are thoroughly examined.

*Please note that we cannot bill Medical Insurance and Vision Insurance on the same day for the same service. This is because it is against the law to bill two different types of insurance on one day. An option to see the eye doctor on the same day for both medical and vision care is to use your Medical Insurance for the medical exam and then pay a flat rate for the refraction (to obtain your prescription).

Heights Vision will do its best to be familiar with everyone's individual insurance plans but it is not our responsibility to know the full details of everyone's unique policy. Please ensure you are aware of possible deductibles and copays.
